Culture
With some of North Georgia’s finest talent, Bartow County is a leader of the region’s cultural community. The 575-seat Grand Theatre is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Grand‘s Opera Company is one of only three companies in the state and enjoys overwhelming support from the community and record attendance. The Pumphouse Players present five to seven productions each year, including at least one dinner theatre at the Grand.
Other local attractions include the Air Acres Museum, the Bartow History Center, the confederate Cemetery in Cassville, the Etowah Indian Mounds, the Noble Hill-Wheeler Memorial Center, the Weinman Mineral Museum, and Roselawn, the home of evangelist Sam P. Jones.
